Back in Black - Changing our Tone

Grey no more. Wattwatchers is moving into the (matt) black as the base colour - or absence of colour to be technical about it - for our over-the-internet energy monitoring devices.

Here's a sneak peak at the new look, coming soon to a meter box near you.

Certified for North America - Yes!

Wattwatchers' flagship product, the ultra-compact Auditor 6M, is now certified for installation in the US and Canada. This big step forward was reported here by Renew Economy, and our company announcement is available here on EIN Presswire.

The 6M features 6-channel metering, 3G communications and power supply all in a 2-unit wide DIN-rail box.

Welcome Nigel Morris to Solar Analytics

Let's tell you a little back story about Australian solar PV guru Nigel Morris, who has joined Wattwatchers' friends at Solar Analytics in the new role of Business Development Director (as reported by The Fifth Estate). Back in 2014, when Nigel ran his sought-after advisory service and busy blog at Solar Business, he was the friendly match-maker who first introduced Wattwatchers and Solar Analytics to one another. That's how a great clean energy technology union between hardware and software got started. Thanks Nigel, and welcome!

Global Ideas award for Wattwatchers

Wattwatchers has been awarded in the Global Ideas Competition of America’s Cleantech Open. This year’s competition was run as part of the inaugural Cleantech Week in San Francisco February 6-10. Wattwatchers was one of six start-ups from around the world selected by the judging jury across three tracks - ‘seed’, ‘growth’ and ‘scale’ - with a winner and a runner-up awarded in each track. Wattwatchers was named runner-up in the ‘scale’ track, for companies that have already attracted substantial investment of circa $5 million and/or achieved sales revenue in excess of $2.5 million.
