Control is coming

The Wattwatchers team is getting excited as the combination of monitoring and switching capabilities in a single Auditor device moves to the front of the product roadmap.

In an energy market where demand response and the integration of distributed energy assets with grids are high on the agenda, it's good to know that control is coming for Wattwatchers.

Options will include 3/6 channels of monitoring with 3 switches (that's the red lights on the left), or 2 switches and ModBus to connect with inverters.

The battle behind the meter

Wattwatchers CEO Gavin Dietz will be joining a panel at the Australian Clean Energy Summit on July 19th to explore 'The battle behind the meter'. The two-day summit run by the Clean Energy Council - being held in Sydney on July 18-19 - is a highlight of a big year for Australia's fast-transforming energy sector. Stefan Jarnason, Co-Founder and CEO of Wattwatchers partner company Solar Analytics also is on the same panel.

The context for the panel discussion is: 'The growth in new energy technologies, monitoring and system optimisation offer a key to unlocking performance potential. Landlords and tenants are taking up these technologies at an increasing rate too. Industry integrity in the face of this growth is required to promote consumer protections and competitive markets.'
