Chris Bean - Founder
Brought the Wattwatchers team together and funded the business through the R&D and early commercialisation stages. Main career in corporate marketing. Founded own CRM and data-driven marketing agency (APAC region) and successfully exited via sale to French multinational media giant Havas Group. Retired after several years as CEO for Havas brands in Asia Pacific region.
Jon Keeble - CTO and Co-Founder
Highly experienced digital technology developer who was inspired to move into the energy solutions space by his concerns about climate change and greenhouse gas pollution. Jon has brought together a small, highly-skilled software and hardware development team and draws on his wide network of technologists to continually expand the Wattwatchers range.
Murray Hogarth - Director Communications & Community Networks
Sustainability strategist, stakeholder engagement specialist and communicator, including a 21-year award-winning career in print and television journalism. Murray was Environmental Editor of The Sydney Morning Herald (1997-99) and a reporter on ABC-TV’s flagship current affairs programs 7.30 and Four Corners (1990-95). A keen user of social media, Murray also is the author of two books on environmental themes. .
David Pethick - Director Business Development
An experienced 'hands-on' leader, working at the intersection of energy, data and sales. David led the Major Customers group at Origin Energy, responsible for a portfolio of customers delivering in excess of $2 billion in annual revenue. In prior roles, David worked in analysis and trading functions for Entergy-Koch Trading, Intergen and Westpac Institutional Bank. For the past three years, David has consulted to the smart metering industry. He has a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Physics.
